As a mathematics teacher, you can collaborate with PhilScience in two modes – as an online tutor (1) or problem solver-editor (2), both modes being remunerated.

As a mathematics tutor, you have the opportunity to contribute effectively to positive change in mathematics education and to earn extra income from an online home-based activity, al carei scop central este whose central aim is students’ understanding of school mathematics and improving students’ performances.
The students whom you teach are registered with PhilScience tutoring program, and you may opt for certain grades (from 5th to 12th) and establish your own schedule (by days and hours). A group consists of a maximum of five students. The tutoring sessions run online, on the platforms that we recommend, twice a week, and a complete session consists of two consecutive 40-minute sessions. The didactical principles of the tutoring and the structure of a session are presented in brief in our description of the PhilScience tutoring service in this website, later presented in detail in the technical documentation you will receive after your confirmed registration. During the collaboration, PhilScience tutors benefit from the support of the experts in the organization.
The fee for tutoring is $30 per full session with one student plus $15 for each additional student after the first ($90 total for a session with completed five-student group). The general formula for the tutoring fee (T) is T = 100 + 50(n – 1), where n is the number of participating students.
